For those of you who have the honor of working in the same office day after day, week after week, you know how personal some of your fellow employees can get when it comes to the break room. It can be a place of warm, friendly conversation, or it can be a space of contention; esp., if the coffee machine or beverage dispenser goes on the fritz. As for me, I like to bring my own water, because I’m not a big fan of coffee or soft drinks. So when the new Thirsty Work Watercoolers showed up one day, I was a happy camper to say the least.

Pumpkin seeds are a healthy and delicious food. It’s best to toast your own, rather than buy the bleached and over-salted or shelled kind. The nutty taste of the kind you roast and salt yourself is something not to be missed. They are great for snacking, or can be added to top soups or liven up salads. Pumpkin seeds can be harvested from a large or small pumpkin. Cut into the top of the pumpkin and separate the pumpkin seeds from the stringy inside of the pumpkin.

I was surprised at just how many different coffee machine filter types that there are on the market. For example, you can get recycled filters. These are made from recycled paper and still produce a rich and smooth coffee. While you’re chugging down a nice warm cup of coffee, you can feel good that you are helping the environment. There are also washable espresso coffee machine filters. I even found some coffees that come in a filter bag that you simply place in the machine instead of having to measure out the coffee.
