The slate roof repair I needed done

I have owned a small commercial building near Fontana California since last May. I had purchased the building through a fairly complicated 1031 exchange deal. Although the deal took a few weeks it was well worth the trouble. The only problem with the small commercial building was that it needed some slate roof repair. This didn’t bother me too much because I have a good friend that does this type of work in his spare time. I was happy when my friend was able to fix the roof right away. One other small problem I had at the building was the plumbing which I took care of myself.

Shopping Online for Greenhouses for Our House

My wife and I just bought a new house. We had been living in the city but we really wanted more outdoor space than what we had. We love to be outside, hiking, gardening, relaxing, etc. We bought this house because it has a nice big yard. However, we realize that in the northeast our outdoor time can be limited. So, we have been shopping online for greenhouses for our house. We would like to put something off our house so that we can start seeds and then continue growing even after the first frost hits.

We have found a few different things to choose from online. There are some nice and affordable greenhouse kits and solar greenhouses that we are considering getting. We would like something that is a good size but not too big either. Also, since we just bought this house, we can not pay a ton of money, so our budget will limit our selections as well. We are glad to see that there are so many different options though for garden greenhouses, so we know that eventually we will find something that works for both our house and for our budget as well as for future plantings!

We Rented Out Our Basement

When the economy hit a bit of a lull, we decided to finish our basement and rent it out as a basement apartment. We carefully assessed the space available and figured we could get in three bedrooms and a small kitchen and living area. We wanted to be able to offer two bathrooms and looked at modern tubs. We wanted small soaking bathtubs for the master bathroom. In the end, we actually ended up with small bathtubs in both the bathrooms in order to fit everything in the way we wanted it. We knew that we could get better rent if we tried to make it really livable and inviting. It was a good project and worked out well.

Faux Wood Shutters in a Real Tree House

I gave my kids a total kick this weekend. The tree house that my brother built for them last summer I gave a redecorating make-over for this summer. I added a shag carpet to feel good on their little feet and some faux wood shutters so that they could enjoy their privacy or peek out at possible intruders. I didn’t go all out on the purchasing… the rug was just sitting unused in the garage and they were pretty cheap faux wood blinds to boot. They really had a blast rediscovering their hide-out and from what I overheard have plans to start up a neighborhood club.

Issues With DIY Prefabricated Building Kits

I’ve recently become interested in DIY Prefabricated Building Kits.
Business is doing well, but I still want to expand as cheaply as possible.
I’ve been reading up on Olympia Steel Buildings online, and have found some decent prospects.

Looking Into Prefab Steel Buildings

It’s time to get serious about Prefab Steel Buildings.
I’ve been needing some more storage space for a while, now. The closets are getting overloaded. Prefab Steel Buildings have been recommended to me.
I’m convinced that looking into Lester Steel Buildings is the way to go. A solid choice at a reasonable price.
Time to narrow down my choices and act. I have no time to waste with this.

A simple solution

I have been looking at ways to make my house better, and after looking at several auctions I decided that I needed to do something to make it warmer, and so I installed some high quality Insulated Vertical Blinds.
